If this quarantine has you working it out from home — you might as well blast your music as loud as you want to, from all your favorite artists! In a new article in Women’s Health, the most popular home workout tracks and artist on Spotify are revealed. The rankings have been determined by the number of times each track and artist appears on workout-specific playlists. Dua Lipa, The Weeknd, and Lady Gaga lead the pack when it comes to singles. However, Eminem has a commanding lead as far as artists go. Plus, Kanye West, Beyonce, Drake, Rihanna and more. We wouldn’t trust this list if it didn’t include some dance music, however — David Guetta and Calvin Harris are two of the most popular home workout artists. Listen to the playlist via PureGym. Attention future producers! The entire Ableton Live 10 Suite is now available — completely free for 90 days. The free trial period typically runs 30 days, but with the current coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine there’s no better time to social distance yourself with your DAW (digital audio workstation). Plus, 56 Effects for processing audio and MIDI — Echo, Pedal, Beat Repeat, Amp, Vocoder, Glue and many more. While the event is keeping much of its lineup intact, acts including Chris Lake and Disclosure have been replaced with RÜFÜS DU SOL and ARTBAT, among others. The eclectic festival also boasts The Strokes, Robyn, Wu-Tang Clan, Tycho, Chromatics and more. In addition, III Points has provided a statement and an entire initiative to give back: As the world takes a halt, we want to take this time to give back to our Miami talent who continue to drive our scene to new heights. We recognize that many artists and musicians are experiencing uncertainty at this time, with gigs cancelling and jobs closing. We created the III Points Miami Artist Initiative Fund, in Partnership with ICA, to provide financial assistance to all types of artists who are struggling to make ends meet while facing the challenges of COVID-19. The festival is set to go down in Miami over October 16th and 17th. DONATE / APPLY to the Miami Artist Initiative here. III Points Lineup

Diplo and Orville Peck grace the cover of Attitude‘s May issue, in which the superstar DJ/producer opens up about underground music and culture, a movement which he attributes largely to the queer community. He says quote: It’s always been the queer artists that have changed the way music exists. The original guys who were creating hip-hop were queer. House music, Baltimore Club, New Orleans bounce music — every time there’s a genre that falls out of nothing, it’s always been kind of like the queer scene that created that. It’s always been in the underground. He adds: I think that’s back to the fearlessness because when you have that energy — the masculine energy, the feminine — you’re taking all the risks because there’s nothing to lose. The interview is out now via Attitude magazine. See a preview of the cover story here — and download or order globally to read in full.

Although Diplo hasnât made an official announcement, previous comments on social media strongly suggest heâs the âdaddyâ (see below). Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe 2014 confirmed Pace was born on March 20, 2020 via Instagram â and he liked the photo. Sheâs been documenting her pregnancy along the way and thereâs been much speculation Diplo is the father. Diplo is also a proud dad to his sons Lockett and Lazer, both with his ex-girlfriend Kathryn Lockhart. Unfortunately, heâs been forced to social distance himself from his family at this time, which he opened up about in a heartfelt post. Congrats to Diplo and Jevon!

According to Malaysia-based company Karex Bhd. — the world’s primary condom supplier — there’s possibility for a global shortage. Brands like Durex face cuts in supply up to 50 percent and the current stockpile is only set to last for two more months, according to a report. Thankfully, the Karex factory started up again on Friday after shutting down operations for one week. However, only half of its workers are staffed in order to comply with government lockdowns in China and India. Goh Miah Kiat, Karex’s group chief executive officer said: “I would definitely say this is an unprecedented stage, we have never seen such a disruption.” To put this into perspective, Karex produces one in every five condoms worldwide. The company produces 5 billion condoms per year for more than 140 countries. Read more here.

As the music industry and the world faces unprecedented struggles, Geffen has found it especially important to let his 83.7k followers know he’s out here, thriving on a yacht. Just how out-of-touch can one be? Allow the photos below demonstrate. “Sunset last night … isolated in the Grenadines avoiding the virus,” he captioned a snapshot featuring his yacht and a stunning sunset view. “I’m hoping everybody is staying safe.” The comments section exploded. Geffen made his social media profile private. Then, he resorted to deleting his entire account. However, the internet never forgets…

The producer was live streaming on Twitch when he stopped for a minute to play out “Shelter” and the chat exploded with comments. The clip was instantly saved and uploaded, so we can play it back again and again — and in doing so, we get chills every time. Earlier this year, the incredible song went certified Gold by the RIAA, for reaching 500,000 sales or equivalent. It probably won’t be long before “Shelter” with Madeon is declared certified Platinum, 1,000,000 sales or equivalent. While we’re missing out on live shows and music festivals during this time of social distancing, little moments like this could only exist in a virtual space — and we’re grateful for the music.
