Ghastly Enters House Realm with Burner First Single Off Upcoming Haunted Haus Album [LISTEN]7/31/2021 Ghastly switches gears from his recent dubstep EP, The OG, to enter the realm of house music. “Burner,” a long-awaited ID is out today, as the producer heads into a new era of Haunted Haus. “Burner” centers around a Burning Man narrative, with trippy vocals, a low, playful bassline and plenty of “boots” and “cats” in the mix. After taking the production on tour over the past three years, Ghastly has finally decided to release it to the public. “Y’all remember that house album I was gonna put out? Well — the time has come,” Ghastly shares. “The first record off the HAUNTED HAUS album is called ‘Burner.'” Ghastly’s shift into house music is no surprise, as the multi-dimensional producer has been popping up at shows with house music power-player, JOYRYDE, to form their unstoppable duo, GHOSTRYDR. Illenium and Steve Aoki closed out the festival on Thursday, but yesterday saw Marshmello taking closing duties and by all accounts, it was a time and a half. Of particular note was his opening track, which happens to be a forthcoming collaboration with new Disciple Records signee, Ray Volpe. Marshmello opened the set with the explosive new collab, calling on the crowd to “take it back to the old school sound.” The combination sounds like a match made in heaven, blending the two artists’ styles into a whopping festival banger that’s sure to get regular play throughout the rest of the year. Check out the video below!

The whole show was probably pure magic, the attendees could attest, but Twitter seems to be abuzz about one particular ID from the Ophelia head’s set — and it’s been confirmed to be a collaboration with Lights. Lights just put out a new single with deadmau5, plus a “meowingtons remix,” so she’s fresh in the EDM zeitgeist. This new collaboration, especially with one of EDM’s preeminent melodic bass artists, is sure to have fans going head over heels once it finally releases. So far, there’s not a whole lot more information about the release, but the video and knowledge that Lights is singing on it is enough to get curiosities piqued. Check out the video below!

He’s curated an immaculate discography, perfectly meshing disco, funk, and electronic into a truly iconic sound. The talented Canadian producer has already had a massive year, most recently winning Tiesto’s remix contest with his rendition of “The Business“ that has already earned over 1.6 million streams on Spotify. Now, Sparkee is back with another incredible remix, this time for Ellis and his song “Orbit“, out exclusively on none other than Monstercat. Sparkee’s remix is another hit in his arsenal, packed with bright, NuDisco melodies that can’t help but make you want to move the minute you press play. Here’s what Sparkee had to say about it:

In 2020, we put euphorian on that list, and their debut EP on Never Say Die only serves to reinforce that our decision was 100% accurate. Where to even begin with youth, the 6-track EP that dropped today on NSD. It’s bombastic, diverse, powerful, and perpetually interesting. It’s also a sound that we haven’t really heard on NSD apart from Moore Kismet, which is no coincidence as the two are friends and Moore actually designed euphorian’s new cover art and logo. But that is not to say that euphorian was given special treatment — one listen to the EP will throw away all misconceptions of such as you intently listen to the bubbling synths, deep bass, and beautiful melodies on each of the tracks. Beginning with the dazzling chaos of “mentality” and ending with the opulent, refined songwriting and composition of “magic,” the entire EP is a polished and pure listening experience from start to finish. The song is all about overcoming pain, anger and darkness to become a new and improved version of yourself. This genre-bending deep cut fuses elements of reggaeton and dance into one seamless, addictive groove, embracing styles of both Skrillex and Jhay Cortez at its core. The music video directed by Stillz features Mia Khalifa, flashes through lonely moments following a breakup, only to be interrupted by motorcycle stunts and an imminent, fiery blaze. Cortez shares of the track (translated), “I can die in peace because I made a track and Skrillex finished it.” “En Mi Cuarto” follows up a wave of collaborative releases from Skrillex including “Butterflies” with Starrah and Four Tet, “Too Bizarre” with Swae Lee & Siiickbrain, “Supersonic (My Existence)” with Noisia, josh pan & Dylan Brady and “In Da Getto” with J Balvin. The new collaboration sees the two put their styles together in a guitar-shredding, face-melting fusion of rock and dubstep. Check out “Take Flight” below!

Source: Sullivan King & Subtronics Collide On Brand New Collaboration, “Take Flight” Via https://www.youredm.com/2021/07/30/sullivan-king-subtronics-collide-on-brand-new-collaboration-take-flight/ It seems incredibly improbable that it’s taken this long for legends RL Grime and Baauer to officially team up, but as we’ve seen over the past year and change, reality can often be stranger than it seems. Grime and Baauer have only collaborated once before, on 2013’s “Infinite Daps,” but now they’ve debuted a new project HÆRNY, combining their names Henry Steinway and Harry Bauer Rodrigues, releasing a sizzling drum & bass tune, “Fallaway.” Both artists have dabbled in drum & bass individually in the past, with RL Grime releasing “Shine” on 2018’s NOVA and Baauer going for the higher tempo on “AETHER” from his sophomore album PLANET’S MAD. Still, the decision to go DnB on their first collaborative release is an amazing feat. Not only that, it’s entirely unique. Plenty of producers, especially in dubstep, will throw in one or two DnB songs in their sets or sometimes perform a rare “special” DnB set. But for two producers who, for all intents and purposes, have their origins in trap, to produce drum & bass in their own way gives it a wholly idiosyncratic identity. “Fallaway” doesn’t easily fall into any comparisons; you wouldn’t say “this sounds like XXXXX” for any drum & bass artist. The two will be playing b2b for the penultimate set on HARD Summer’s main stage tomorrow, July 31. Listen to “Fallaway” below!
